10. 4HIM concluded their many years as a band with the Finale Tour. The tour ended in Mobile Alabama, where 4HIM was honored by Premier Productions, through a donation to World Vision.

9. Suzuki became a sponsor for BEC/Tooth&Nail’s Kutless. Suzuki was the title sponsor of Kutless’ The Hearts of the Innocent Tour.

8. Chris Tomlin’s song “Made to Worship” broke the record in number of impressions on the CRW Comprehensive Chart. “Made to Worship” gathered over 20 million impressions in one week.

7. WOW celebrated its 10th year since creation. The discs are created through the partnership of the three largest Christian music/entertainment companies in the industry, including EMI CMG, Provident Music Group and Word Entertainment.

6. Winter Jam celebrated its 10th anniversary with record breaking attendance. The one day record for the tour was in Greensboro
North Carolina where 15,280 concert goers gathered to watch the all-star lineup of musicians. Winter Jam 06’ included Newsboys,
tobyMac, NewSong, ZOEgirl, Hawk Nelson, and Krystal Meyers.

5. Audio Adrenaline said adios. Audio A released its final album, Adios, this year. After 15 years, the band had to call it quits due
to the frontman experiencing ongoing vocal challenges. Since 1991, Audio Adrenaline has sold over three million records and
racked up 18 No. 1 singles.

4. EMF Broadcasting Launched its 200th station in Scranton, PA. EMF Broadcasting began 18 years ago with a single radio station
in Santa Rosa, CA.

he was named Vice Chairman of the council.

2. Amy Grant received her star in Hollywood. After selling over 25 million albums worldwide and winning numerous GRAMMY Awards,
Amy Grant added her Star to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

1. Steven Curtis Chapman received his 50th Dove Award. His 50th was won for his involvement in the multi-artists album, Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Chapman now holds more Dove awards than any other artist. The 2006 GMA music awards were hosted by Rebecca St. James and Kirk Franklin.
